Working with La Plage and Pottermore promote the launch of the Audible book (Quiddich World Cup) by upgrading the current 3 page static site.

CHALLENGES

To build such a long scrolling site with multiple animations and audio being triggered at the correct time across multiple different browsers and devices.

SOLUTION

Using the Scrollmagic javascript library in association with the howler audio library trigger each element as it was required while scrolling down the page. Triggers were used to control the play back of GSAP animations as well as triggering videos to play and pause. Additional triggers were added to control the playback of animated GIFS and most importantly control the playback of Audio snippets from the audible book.

RESULT

The site was launched on 15th March
